Gaea at SIAL Innovation 2012

Innovation is one of Gaea's pillars of success , as highlighted once again during SIAL 2012, the world's largest food innovation marketplace.

 

2 product lines out of Gaea’s “Cooperation” project  were  selected for this year’s SIAL Innovation Awards. With almost 1200 products presented to the committee, Gaea’s  “Cretan Crisps”, created in cooperation with Kriton Artos, and the “Herbal teas with Saffron”, in cooperation with Krocus Kozanis, were selected for their innovative attributes in taste, packaging and market positioning.

Gaea/Kriton Artos “Cretan Crisps” were selected for their unique recipe and composition. These 100% natural snacking Rusks, double baked and kneaded with extra virgin olive oil, offer a total new take on snacking, where taste meets quality and health.

Gaea/Krocus Kozanis “Herbal Teas with Red Saffron” offer a unique range of herbal teas that combine natural herbs with red saffron, world’s most exclusive spice. Saffron is ideal for the digestive system, vitality, for stimulation and improving of one’s well-being.

This is not the first time for Gaea has been distinguished for its innovative products, several products of ours have been selected during previous years by the committee for their innovative character, with the most recent one being our groundbreaking Olives in Snack Packs in SIAL 2010.
