The German audience has voted! Gaea’s PGI Hania Extra Virgin Olive Oil was awarded the Bronze Medal during the “Product of the Year 2013” competition in Germany, among thousands of other products. The competition is organized by the German trade magazine “Lebensmittel Praxis”, and the results are based exclusively on consumer’s voting. Gaea’s PGI Hania Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the only olive oil which won an award!
At the same time, another major distinction was also announced for Gaea-Vranas Extra Virgin Olive Oil, wich was awarded with the Olio Award 2012 this time in Zurich.
It’s worth mentioning that the Gaea-Vranas Extra Virgin Olive Oil had been also awarded the “Best of Greece” olive oil during the 11th International Olive Award that took place in Zurich in 2012, highlighting its superior quality, taste and aroma.
This prestigious award is of a great impact since voters in Switzerland nominated Gaea-Vranas Extra Virgin Olive Oil as the most popular extra virgin olive oil! Being the most accepted and preferred olive oil is a great honour for this unique product that comes from the island of Lesvos and carries a history of 2 centuries.
